HOW MUCH RAIN DO WE STILL NEED?

Despite the rains, most of the dams still need a lot of water. Some of the dams are lacking 10 meters of water level just to be able to reach the minimum required. As we all know, our dams continuously release water for irrigation and drinking water purposes.

Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon experienced heavy rains during the past couple of days due to a typhoon. A low pressure area is expected to bring continuous rains until Friday but that will still not be enough. According to Pag Asa's spokesman, we need approximately 20 days of rain (of this magnitude) to be able to attain the ideal minimum levels in our water reservoirs.

Oh no!
