A few weeks ago, a controversy erupted when it was exposed that a Korean company is building a structure along the mouth of Mt. Taal. How and why it was given an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) remains foreign to me.
The construction eventually stopped after the government issued a temporary suspension of the ECC but now, the construction is said to be back.
I hope the Korean owners will be at the site every time the volcano erupts. I also hope that his family will be there, as well.
