Smart Driving in Manila

As usual, traffic was heavy along Buendia, Malugay and Yakal streets this afternoon. It’s a good thing that there is a garage type building selling auto accessories in between Malugay and Yakal. When it became pretty obvious that the congestion in Yakal was going to be worse than I thought, I simply drove through the garage and exited in Malugay. In no time, I was back in Ayala Avenue and on my way to Alabang, where the traffic is another story.

Baby's Names

Just as the country is reeling from the passing away of Cory, a rash of birth announcements came out. For sure, a good number of females and some males will be named Cory. Of course, males being named Cory is not so odd. Jose Corazon de Jesus, for instance is a name that seamlessly included Cory. Just as Thousands of kids were named Jaworski after the basketball legend, it will not be surprising to encounter a lot of Cory’s after the most famous woman in Asia, as of today.

In few Years...

If you need a motorhome towing, consult your friends for recommendations, check the yellow pages and better yet, search the web. The web is the media of the future. As internet access becomes more widespread, printed newspapers will be replaced by online publications. Therefore, those wanting to get into the publications business, a good web presence is highly recommended. It is just a matter of time and the paper will be a thing of the past. Trees should be better protected by then.
